It will be really helpful if you can consider the custom logo or layout option in your plugin. I believe it will drive more users to your plugin as it will complete the most common use-cases that an end-user like us looks for.

As an alternative, you can select the “screen options” that will be displayed on top right corner of the wordpress dashboard and deselect the QR Code plugin to make sure that you dont want it displayed on a particular post/page types.
This will indeed help as solution for your requirement.
