Hi Christian,
I just updated the plugin – version 0.6.
The new version supports custom fields so you have the widget display different products per post. The new version also support multiple instances and the ability to specify a product line, plus a few other new features. Enjoy!

I had this very same problem. It turned out that I was uploading the file over SSL (HTTPS). Once I switched to regular plaintext (HTTP), the flash upload started working again. Hope that helps.
