For anyone else with the same issue, how to fix, I tried everything and the problem wasn’t with directorist, the problem is the import.

Make sure when Importing using wp all import, select the custom taxonomy of the directory type under the taxonomies section. Check the box that says hidden taxonomies so you can view the ones that directorist imports.
