I deleted it and saved, and uploaded again, but it still does not work: no photographs appear. (it must be eart radiation ;-). Help!

In reply to: images don't uploadfound out that i had to change permissions in my ftp program, not in explorer. anyway; WP uploads but image data do not upload. an error message is generated. i tried with all different permissions, but they still don’t show. When i upload them myself via ftp, they are still not recognized.
Deleted all of them again, uploaded again via WP but still the folder'” uploads” stays empty and only the file name appears in WP. Not the file itself.
What else can I do to make this work? it’s been over 3 days now that I’m trying, but no results yet. I really appreciate help!! Thank you!Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: images don't uploadI have read the codex, but still don’t know how to enter the popup that is showed in the link you provided.
When I right click the index.php in Explorer (Dutch version), what are the next steps? I have tried all kinds of options, but still have not been able to open the popup where I can change the permissions.
Apologies for all the questions. Reason for me to start using WP is that I believe its designs, possibilities etc. are more up to date and sophisticated. So far I have made my websites myself with Dreamweaver or FP.
