In reply to: [WordPress Charts] chart optionsHi There
Thanks for the kind words.
Currently not without hacking at the plugin, I’m also holding off on the admin panel untile the core refactoring is complete on chart.js as there are some major changes and very cool features in the pipeline.
Once we get the admin panel in – the sky will be the limit regarding the original library options.

In reply to: [WordPress Charts] Internet Explorer not displaying charts correctlyHi VGNE
I tested originally in IE9 and IE8 and they charts where fine, could this be a conflict in the CSS from your theme? can you produce a test case in 2012 / 2011? if you still have issues, please let em know, I’d very much like this to work consistently in all browsers.

In reply to: [WordPress Charts] Next versionHi Neils
Cool, it will be some time before I have all those options in an admin panel, largely due to the fact that I’m waiting on a major overhaul of the core library to be complete. So I’m holding off on that for a while as its a pretty major component of the plugin.
I’ve got a couple features I’ve been working on that will be rolled out shortly, and I’ll have a look at what it would take to override this from the shortcode , and if its possible see if I can roll that into the next release.
thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate your input.
Warmest Regards

In reply to: [WordPress Charts] Next versionHi Neils
My update has been long over due, I’ve been slammed between work and studies. I’ve started working on a basic admin page and a widget, as well as preset colour themes, and some updates to the documentation, but let me know what features you’re after, and I’ll see what i can do.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Warmest Regards
Paul
Hey VGNE
Sorry I took so long to respond to you, and I’m very glad you’ve worked this out! The next key word is only for when you’ve got comparable data sets for certain graph types, such as the line chart where you’re mapping out a set of comma separated data points, with a second data set.
Good luck and look out for the updates coming soon.

In reply to: [WordPress Charts] GuidanceHi VIGNE
you are quite correct you are only supposed to use shortcodes in the post/ page editor, if you would like to use it in a page template you will need the do_shortcode() function – I’ve added a link below.

Good luck

In reply to: [WordPress Charts] Google Chart Dependant?Hey Jeff
this plugin is not dependent on google charts at all, and while it would be possible using the core javascript library to do both of those (essentially you’re reading data from a mysql database when you save it in WP but i think we both know thats not what you mean 0_ -) it would not be possible with this plugin as it stands.
Thanks for the question, hope you find what you’re looking for 🙂
Warmest Regards
Paul
