there are definitely a few kinks to iron out that I’m working on, and my goal from the beginning will be to have an interface by v1.0 – post the mss bug squashing of course.
Thanks again.

In reply to: [Visual Icon Fonts] Fonts don't work from a cookie-free domain?Hey
I’m sure that know enough in rhis area particularly though I imigine there may either a path problem, or a cross origin policy issue, though I wouldn’t be able to help without doing a little research.
I’ll leave this thread open for a while in case other users can help, though you may have more luck asking a more general question on stack overflow regarding cookie free domains and web fonts.
Good luck!
Paul
Ps: please post back here when you solve this.

In reply to: Best way to create a css file dynamicallythats the first answer that seems to be on the right track, I’d like the neatness of having styles set in options in a separate file without essentially loading WP twice,
the above looks like it might work, can you explain a little bit more ?
regards.

is there a codex link or some documentation expressing that which you’re referencing, I’d greatly appreciate the link.
Cheers 🙂

In reply to: [Visual Icon Fonts] Questions and suggestionsthis is just a little helper css class that assists in evening out the display of the icons giving them uniform proportion in relationship to the font size, and avoiding some little display gremlins I found when initially setting this up. This shouldn’t negatively impact your experience of using font awesome compared to outside WP at all.

In reply to: [Visual Icon Fonts] Questions and suggestionsHey GermanKiwi
thanks for that, I have seen those, where there is some conflicting information for me around best practices is the following
http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/add_plugins_page
My current choices about where to put this comes from :
1. there is a function specifically for plugin options pages
2. Menu’s under settings should (will) only be available to administrators, where I feel this is more of a content issue and should be accessible to a manager, who may often not be the admin (reserved for devs in many instances).I’ll continue reading about it and see what the community at large say is best practice.
thanks for all the input, and I’m excited about where this plugin goes as well 🙂

In reply to: [WordPress Charts] canvas does not workHi there
so I’ve added a ‘relativewidth’ property to the shortcode which I’d love you to test out, it defaults to 1 for square, where if you’re setting you chart to 200px high and 600px wide your ratio would be 3 or for your example above 3.33. Give it a spin and let me know how that works out for you.
