Yes I did take a pre-upgrade database back-up, but when I uploaded it via FTP it still hasn’t fixed the issue. Could it be to do with the WordPress address and blog address fields in my settings perhaps? Maybe they are not matching up to where the files are in my FTP…as for some reason when I log in to the admin panel the URL is redirecting:
http://www.londonvenueguide.com/blog/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.londonvenueguide.com%2Fblog%2Fwp-admin%2F

I’ve worked it out – I went to my site manager and changed the folder name from “WordPress” to the new extension. Then logged in and changed it back! Will do a bit more research first, next time!
