thanks, I found the solution, I did to much changes in .htaccess. I plugged in one from backup data, and everything works fine.

I did change the address and copied the files(and changed index file) to root directory and it did indeed change the permalink structure, but I still get an error when I click the links. I did edit the page to update the links and still an error.
Any ideas?
