Hi @oriver
It’s difficult to help you debug the issue without seeing the custom code, but I understand your predicament.
The message you have referenced “An active PHP session was detected” indicates that the custom code needs to close the session using session_write_close() to prevent the Site Health error being reported.
You could try adding this function at the end of your custom code, to see if it resolves the issue, but I can’t be sure this will fix it for you.

In reply to: Critical errorHi @lauriek
Your support title reads “Critical Error” which tells me you’re getting an error message with those words when you try to edit that page. Does that error message give you any other details?
If you’ve disabled plugins and restored a WP theme, then it’s possible that something specific on that page could be the problem. Do you have access to edit the wp-config.php file, so that you can enable the WordPress debug log?
Enabling this, and viewing the log file, might help you isolate what the problem is.

In reply to: Trigger when a block is duplicatedHi @htmgarcia
Are you talking about when you are editing blocks in the block editor, or duplicating a block some other way.
When you duplicate a block in the block editor, you can manually edit block content/attributes, so I’m wondering if there is some other way you are duplicating the block?

If the category is still being displayed when you have set specific permissions made available by the plugin, I recommend asking at the plugin’s support forum so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.
If this is the Ultimate Member plugin you are using, you can ask for help on the plugin URL here -> https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/ultimate-member/

In reply to: Logined user can see the CategerySorry, it seems my reply was posted twice.
Are you creating this category via code, or via the WordPress dashboard? The reason I ask is that as far as I know, when you create a Category under Posts, by default there’s no ability to assign permissions?

Ah, thanks for the update @arfa_. Congrats on figuring it out. Please feel free to mark this as resolved.

In reply to: Videos or images not showing with TinyMceHi @wandersoncs
From the code you have shared, you’re adding a new field to an existing array of fields. However, it isn’t easy to see what the code you have shared does without the context of the plugin you are customizing.
Is that plugin available in the WordPress.org plugin repository? Is the code you have shared here the complete code you are using to customize the plugin, or is there more to it, and is it ok for you to share that code by way of a public code sharing tool like Gist or Pastebin?

In reply to: Logined user can see the CategeryCould I confirm how you have created this category, specifically how you have set it up so that a non-logged-in user is not able to view it?
Hi @arfa_
However, I’ve come unstuck when using this in the Gutenburg block editor. The property field input is populated, however, the change is not registered, the post ‘Update’ button remains disabled and any interaction with other fields will revert the content of the programmatically updated text input.
To clarify here, are you saying that the popup’s functionality works, and when the popup overlay closes, the data entered in the popup is populated in the TextControl element in the block editor, but it’s just not saved, i.e. not triggering the TextControl’s onChange event, which would pass the data back to the block attributes?
Have you been able to confirm that there are no errors in your browser’s console when the popup overlay is closed?

In reply to: Paywall for older content onlyHi @popeye1
There are a number of plugins that support this type of functionality, which you can find under the tag “memberships” in the plugins repository.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/memberships/
In your case, I would look for plugins that also support restricting content by a specific age.

In reply to: Multi-site friendly namesHi @staze
I want to make sure I understand the problem you’re encountering here. The site name can be changed on the Settings page in wp-admin (under General -> Settings in the dashboard menu) by editing the Site Title field.
However, it sounds like you want a different Site Title when you are logged into the WordPress dashboard (or in this case, the friend or family member that’s logged into the dashboard) vs the Site Title that displays on the front end of the site? Do I understand this correctly?

In reply to: Gallery/album plugin to import from phpBBHi @petebm
I did a quick search of the plugin directory for phpBB plugins, and it doesn’t look like there’s anything there that might help.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/phpbb/
That being said, I’m sure it’s possible to achieve what you want using a custom plugin, you just might need to pay a freelance developer to build it for you.
If you’re interested in hiring someone to build this for you, you could try posting the job on https://jobs.wordpress.net/. Alternatively, you could use a freelancing service of your choosing.
