The point I want to emphasize here is, when I click on /Activity/, the photos or any media uploaded via Buddypress Activity Plus doesn’t show up. However, it performs correctly only when I click on sub-tab: All Members under /Activity/ page. My idea is, it should reflect the media when /Activity/ page is loaded which should have been the default use-case.
Hi David, even I too face the same issue with this plugin. I’ve described the problem here at https://buddypress.org/support/topic/activity-page-refresh-not-working-properly/
Could you please take a minute to go through and let me know what’s the issue with this plugin?Forum: Plugins

In reply to: Change in WP 3.1 affects many pluginsThanks Andrea for your clear explanation. However I was worried about very few plugins when not network-activated, does not feature in site’s plugin page!
I inquired the plugin’s author and they couldn’t reply positively.. It looks like such plugins need to be upgraded to wp 3.1 as there are still in wp 3.0Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Installing WordPress locally using WAMPIn Apache modules, you can find an option called “rewrite_module”, just tick it to enable. If still not working, try to restart your wamp server.

In reply to: Help needed urgently for Multi-site enabled WPI really need to thank all the users who post their replies here, especially Andrea. I have found the culprit plugin, “BP-Registration-Options”. When I enable this plugin, my users can’t able to publish their posts and sometimes behaves too odd.. Once I disable it, I am fine to see the normal state of WP Multi-site functionality. I came here to state that my problem was due to the above mentioned plugin and whoever encounters the same problem, can try things like I did and as others suggested.
Thanks a lot once again, guys!Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: Help needed urgently for Multi-site enabled WPI have one more query around the same WP multi-site. My users’ dashboards display plugins such as WordPress Backup, WP Paypal, Cubepoints etc.
What I mean is, my users can able to access these plugins in their dashboard. They can download my entire website’s backup, change paypal’s address, change cubepoints to get to the top…!!How to prevent these? Some of the plugins are just activated instead of Network Activated. Please correct my mistake. Thanks again.

In reply to: Help needed urgently for Multi-site enabled WPThanks a lot, Andrea. Your simple solution worked out to identify that there is an issue with any of the plugins! Now, I have to find the right culprit plugin. I will see to that. I thought upgrading to WordPress 3.1 has introduced some bugs..
Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: Help needed urgently for Multi-site enabled WPIt was fine initially. I don’t know why it happens now! It’s going to be painful to deactivate and activate the plugins. Also, I am not comfortable with WordPress 3.1 changes as it has site admin and network admin..!!
I will look into this now. In the mean time, if anybody come up with any clue for this issue, please let me know here.Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: Help needed urgently for Multi-site enabled WPPlease clarify me this particular point. I logged in as an administrator for my buddypress with WPMU (say http://www.example.com/wp-login.php). I can see my members role as “Subscriber”. That’s fine. As per my understanding, if I change this role, then the user will get privileges to edit the posts..!! So, I am fine with the “Subscriber” role.
As it is Multi-site enabled, users can create many blogs. One of the user’s role for his own blog (www.example.com/user1) is “Administrator”. However that user itself can’t able to publish the posts. I wonder why it is. I want those users who possess “Administrator” for his own network of blogs should be able tp publish the posts. I hope I stated my problem in a clear way..
Please let me know the things to be done.
Thanks.
