Through the LAN shared folders XAMMP etc. My friend setup a local installation for me.

Firstly I would like to say it was not my intention to cause any offense. That is why if you see my post I used the words “possibly” and followed with the statement “I could be very wrong with easing slider lite.”. As far as I was concerned I was not “calling out” to anybody or any thing.
I am truly sorry and humbly offer an apology to you personally if you have construed my wording that way. Please be aware it was not meant to come across that way. Again I’m sorry.
To fix it (and not saying this was good but it worked) I just backed up my install and re-installed wordpress. Using the exact same plugins, theme, PHP and CSS files it worked. Quickly tried all the plugins at once and all OK. Lost a few days work but the plugins all worked and will turn them all back on again as I finish it. Can only say must have been something (probably be me) with the core wordpress files (but I will stand corrected if need be)

I pasted that into three different places on header.php in three different places but got no change.
Not sure what “change the jquery version according to your need” step means. where?

In reply to: JQuery Issues (woes)All from plugin. Just using twenty eleven child theme customised. I tried disabling all the plugins and re-installing one by one but still no joy.
I tried installing other plugins that use jquery as well but none work

do you mean from the jquery updater plugin or the jQuery Vertical Accordion Menu plugin?
My other site you looked at the other day e b a r l o w p h o t o s . c o m uses the jQuery Vertical Accordion Menu plugin to create the main menu

In reply to: Displaying search resultsThanks for the reply. Probably just render the results the same way. What I am looking for is maybe the results are presented in a gallery with lightbox as you scroll them.
What i don’t like is when you search for say “ford” as listed above it gives the results and you click on it. Opens up with that result which is correct but when you click on it it just goes to the next photo in the gallery not the next search result. Hmmmm

In reply to: Remove Header image only from Home ScreenNo just customising a theme call twenty-eleven-child. It is basically an exact clone of the built in twenty eleven one. Saves modifying the original twenty eleven. Have fumbled my way around it to get something unique as you can tell.
Will try that code at the end of style.css

I just need to remove the header image above the slider on the home page only. I would like the header to appear on all other pages and posts though.
