Yes I know. But if I create an event marked as hidden which reoccurs should not all the instances be marked as hidden too? Otherwise I will need to edit each instance, which I can’t because it is grey out on the edit screen.

OK therefore not the solution I am looking to for our small community facility.

Total due is what it should be.

When you add your payment system it will need to be able to process deposits separately to room costs, should offer discount and promotional code options, add-on or amenities costs, and there needs to be more allowance for different room cost.

OK my mistake. Cities are separate to Branches.

It is marked as internal and shows as such when I go to “Edit Event”. Interestingly, if I go to any “Edit Instance” the box is greyed out and does not look to be checked.

” if you have 4 branches in 2 cities, and only wanted residents of those 2 cities to be able to reserve a room for a birthday party, you would only add those two cities to your list.” – If I did that I would only have 2 branches to create rooms in 🙂 My point is that the list being used for cities is the branch list.

If I have 4 branches in 2 cities the branches probably not named as a city e.g. here we have the Miller branch (named after a person) and others named after the street they are on etc.. Now my city list will be populated with these non cities names.

I expect “Unavailable” to show up when you are outside of the 2 and 90 days, but why is “Weekly Staff Meeting” showing as this is hidden, surely it should say “Unavailable” here too?

I think you misunderstand. The total cost should not be shown as the deposit plus the room cost. The actual Total cost is just the room cost, the deposit is either paid toward this or held as a security deposit. I am suggesting that you change the wording to reflect this by not saying, or adding the two values together. At the moment it looks like the events Total cost is = (Deposit + Room cost). While this could well be the amount required at contract signing it is not the net cost to the client.

This only concerns the message returned when the form is submitted, as the email can be changed under email settings.

Further, “Since this doesn’t collect funds” I assumed that the idea was to eventually offer fund collection? The payment page within the setting is why I am making this assumption. If the idea is to implement payment then discussion of usage is appropriate.

Finally, being a not-for-profit business does not mean being inefficient or not maximizing your resources.

Not sure that helped. I presume the time slots with nothing in the status column are for staff clean up and the “Unavailable” should be where I am know seeing the “Weekly Staff Meeting”. Weekly Staff Meeting is marked not to be published so “Unavailable” would be appropriate here.

Local residents, served by a branch, can still can be in a city/town without a branch so not listed in the drop down box. This could be very frustrating if the administrator has not created a fake branch for them to register. The fact that you also require social events to register their Library membership negates the need for a secondary proof of eligibility.

I misread the entry form I thought Staff events had to be selected on the registration line:
Registration Required Yes No Staff Only

Not that it meant that you wanted staff to register for an open event.

They are listed as meetings I can email you them, directly from the “Book a Room – Daily Meetings” report if you give me your email address…
Actually Colin roistered and the meeting is pending so I will use that email (please check spam filters)

I have added some of the local branches and they show up in the city choices box on the form, but that is not the point:

    A) I do not want to add “fake” branches so that I can populate all the local cities/towns/villages that could possibly want to rent a space.
    B) We are obviously using a “branch” field when it should be an “address” field
    C) The City address is not forced to a choice unless you select Non profit or social. The code is there for entering a city address field, if you require a branch be entered then add another form field.

While discussing forced entry, then you should also look at not forcing registration for staff events. Weekly staff meetings should not be forced to require registration.

They show up in all the back end reports, Contact List and Daily Signs, and show in all searches and they can be edited. The back end calendar also shows all the staff events.

The advance search on the top of the form goes to a non existent page or post. Not sure if this is related to the problem.

Is there something I can look for in the firewall logs?

    Message after submitting:
    “Events Settings

You have successfully edited the Events settings”

With all the form field filled in.

I will create a set of posts with individual suggestions, unless you would provide another feedback method.
