I think you misunderstood my suggestion.
I love the way the display is at the moment in 3 columns… the problem I have is that the description under each group is centered… I think it should be floated to the left under each item.
If you look at the Aquaponics group in the image.. just under the words 4 days ago… you can see that the description of the group is centered.. would have been good if the sentence “This is a discussion group” starts from the left (aligned left).
I am using the generatepress theme and my website is on a multisite.
I want to suggest you also have a look at a plugin called youzer… which is a great plugin for buddypress users… there might be one or 2 things you might get from the plugin… the only problem I had with that plugin was that it would not allow me conrol of my themes sidebar.

You really deserve a pat on the back… Great work… It has transformed my profile page.

Just a couple of points when you decide to update the plugin
1) those hooks that are used to move the items around seem to be in the wrong place.
2) The video… the ability to be responsive.. It reduces in size… but It seemed not to be proportional
3) the thumbnails for the groups and the blog post squeezed together into a columns when viewing on a mobile rather than stacking up on each other. Was not able to test the friends section but i suspect this also needs to be adjusted
4) I think you should include some lovely screenshots for your “BP Profile Home Widgets” wordpress page of what your plugin can do… will help increase download volume.

Your plugins seem to be addressing all those things that site managers really want but developers tend to ignore… I am really sure that downloads will pick up as soon as people get to know more about your plugins.

I note also that the readers viewing the profile can move the widgets around… is this good?
I think the owners of the profile should be able to move the widgets around but not the readers

Do you mean for the post links in the Group Post page to point to site.com/postname as opposed to group/postname?
On second thought… I realise that the way the post show up under the group blog is best. Anyone not part of that group must NOT be able to read the full content of the post
If the problem with it showing up on the “site.com/postname” can be eliminated that would be great… Can this possibly be redirected
In my case… I still want to be able to show some of the excerpts on a different page or on a sidebar … and if anyone not registered with the group clicks on the link… it redirects to the group with the message….”you need to be a member of this group to read the post

Thank you very much for adding this amazing feature. It is a much needed feature and I am sure a lot of buddypress users will love it.
Can I suggest for a future update that you find a way to attach a page in the administrator panel so that all the list of shortcodes are easily available (similar to what bbp style pack plugin does) . Will save users having to come to wordpress.org to check on the various options available
