OK, I found a post in the archives that suggested deactivating the plugin FeedWordPress. I did and my functionality returned!
I am having the same issue. I started a query but got no reply. If anyone has insight it would be most helpful!
Have you gone to “Design” then “Widgets” and added any widgets to your sidebar?
I would check the stylesheet. It appears that this navbar is CSS meaning you need to recode the style for the bar.
