    Also, please let me know if there are other metrics I should be checking to see if we’re overloading the server — I did manage to check free memory on a day when we were experiencing repeated outages, and we were using less than half of the allotted memory at the time.

    Thank you for your help! I’ve been told by the hosting company that the outages are the result of load spikes, but it isn’t specified whether they are specific to my site or simply server-wide. Our site doesn’t do e-commerce or streaming, it’s just a news site with images. We’ve migrated servers multiple times to no avail, making me think that it’s something related to the site, but it ultimately could just be Deluxe’s poor hosting capabilities. I just checked bandwidth metrics on cPanel, and spikes seem to never pass 15mb/min, and as far as I can tell they don’t correspond with outages.

    We pay for a “pro” plan, which is supposed to give us 700 GB of monthly bandwidth, and we only use roughly 120 GB of bandwidth per month. Deluxe’s support has been generally subpar, and we were considering switching before this. Does it make sense to switch to another host?
