When I inspected accelerate demo theme code and your code I find there is an HTML structure error. As I can see your closing of </div > tag has been misplaced or you have closed before the footer. Along with that you have used child theme as well so it might have overwritten your parent theme. Can you please check your HTML structure once again. To display only one image in a slider, navigate to Appearance > Customize > Slider Section. To activate the slider, checkmark the activate slider checkbox.
