Actually as I replied to this post, one of the (Adsense) ads that popped up gave me an idea, perhaps I could just use a Windows, folder based encryption package to encrypt the db tables?
Would this work with MySQL?
I’m using WP on a live-site, but also on a shared computer as a “personal journal”. So it’s a special case, not getting many hits, but I’d like to encrypt the data on that computer.
I think whatever solution, I’ll also have to test it thorougly incase it is buggy and corrupts the data 🙁
