I tried the troubleshooting steps suggested by you, but the issue still persists.
I’ve added the following custom CSS code which solved the issue, but it has disabled social media icons (Follow Us icons) too.
Custom CSS code: .sfsi_footerLnk {display: none};

The custom CSS code that you have mentioned solved the issues. However, it is disabling social media icons too in the footer area.
