It might be issue of permalink, it may resolve by save permalinks from settings in admin panel.

there are many things you have to customize from your side, to do this. We already provide hooks to customize everything as per your requirement.
Firstly, you need to add filter for validation before you register any user that space is available for registration for the event.
Secondly, you need to add filter to hide event registration button if all space is full for the event.

Thank you for showing interest on our product.
Yes, we have this functionality to register in event for register members only, but our sell ticket module will work only with WooCommerce plugin because for payment system we use WooCommerce. However, if you don’t want to use the payment process then you will have to go with registration plugin only. You can check this link as it maybe helpful as well: https://wp-eventmanager.com/knowledge-base/registrations/
You will have to go to WP-admin, click on Event Registration, go to settings, Click on registration form.
On the top you can choose, put restriction for register member only, you need to check the topmost option of (Only allow registered users to register).
Further, you can also set number of visitors in a form, and you can add field in registration field editor.
