In reply to: Restore wordpress files and databaseI think it depends on your hosting service. I use go daddy and they back up my server, and if I ever want to restore it to a certain point I go into my control panel and reset my database. I’m not 100% sure how else you could do it. I’m sure there’s a way. If I remember correctly you can save out a file from a database, and then just reupload that to a new one. I always felt that that was to much work so I never bothered to figure it out lol. Sorry if this doesn’t help much.

In reply to: Adding Facebook and Twitter Buttons on End of PostGet the share and follow plugin. That works perfectly for me.
Sweet I got it to work the way I wanted it. Apparently after I use the custom fields plugin I have to put in all the urls into the gallery. Then I have to put the gallery effect on that specific gallery. Now it works perfectly!!! The fix was much easier then I thought. Took a lot of trial and error to figure that out though lol.
Hey sorry I apparently don’t get alerts when people respond to my threads. I used this plugin to do it. “NextGEN Custom Fields”.
Unfortunately I still can’t get the light box effect to work to the 2nd gallery the first gallery links too.
Ok I figured out how to create the link, but now if I don’t want custom links for the 2nd gallery it links to how can I manage that? I tried to be slick and create a duplicate NextGEN plugin, but that didn’t work.
Thanks again for your help!
It should appear in the bottom left of that tool bar. I know this is a dumb question, but are you sure it’s on and are you sure you have the most up to date version of both wordpress and nextgen gallery?
Can I ask how you did that? I’m looking to do exactly what you have done in the iphone4 wallpapers page. I can’t seem to get my nextgen plugin to link to anything else but the lightbox.
Thanks for your help!
Hello,
The way I would do this is by editing the css file for the Nextgen plugin. You can find this file in your plugins folder “plugins>nextgen-gallery/css/nggallery.css”. A great tool I use to help me edit my css with the firebug plugin for Firefox. It’s how I find a lot of the css code that I need to change while I’m edit a webpage.
In that css file look for this line of code “.ngg-gallery-thumbnail img {“. Then you’ll see a code for border. Just replace that hex code to the color you want it to be and then reupload the css file. This should change the border color around all of your images.
As for the border of the entire gallery that should be in your theme’s css file.
I hope this helps!
