i’ve encountered the same problem. My problem was solved by changing the facebook user from one public page to the personal one (i’ve had the same problem with several public pages that I manage on Facebook, just by changing to the personal user solved this issue).
So, i guess it is a Facebook setting issue (the rights given to the apps, to be public or not), not a wordpress add-on problem. I also found this issue with other add-ons, just by searching the net. 😉
