how do i know if the pages have a custom or a single tmeplate?

Wow thank you. I did not think I could put css style right into my widget text box and was trying to link it to styles defined in my style-sheets

Never mind. I found a newer widget that is similar and that issue is fixed.

funny thing is that I had 4 errors and now I have more. but not from this widget?

I did not change the plugin files. I just checked the authors site and he states:
“Update: 20 January 2010: This plugin has not been tested with WordPress 2.9 and may break because 2.9 has internal changes. I am still trying to find time. Sorry for the Inconvenience.”
