I tried setting the site up locally and I couldn’t recreate the problem, so it looks like the problem might have to do with the setup on WordPress Managed Hosting at MediaTemple(GoDaddy).

What ended up being the problem? I’m seeing the same error message. Yes, I’ve set the directory permissions to 777.
I just came across the same thing. It looks like you just need to replace the part of the URL that says ?page=statpress-seolution/statpress.php&sps_action=up with ?page=sps/up
