In reply to: TwentyEleven Theme Nav Bar Changes in Different BroswersLoaded it up. Everything looks the same. Can you check on your browser to see if there is a change and it’s not just me?

In reply to: TwentyEleven Theme Nav Bar Changes in Different BroswersIf you look at http://www.polyliving.net/forum, you will see the navigation I want. The text is an off grey. When you hover it highlights in maroon and text is white. When selected it is boxed in maroon with white text. If there is a sub menu it has a grey background matching the nav bar with same text color setup.
polyliving.net has white text that turns grey when hovered over. Drop down menus have a white background with gray text.
I’m trying to create a uniform color combinations and look between the forum and the main site, with the forum color combinations as the template.

In reply to: TwentyEleven Theme Nav Bar Changes in Different BroswersDid it. Didn’t even realize the search bar was missing! Now it it back. But everything seems off center from before. The nav bar is way to the left and search is way to the right. What now?

In reply to: TwentyEleven Theme Nav Bar Changes in Different BroswersWait…delete everything except the new things I have done? So instead of a style sheet with hundreds of lines I will have one with a couple of dozen at most?

In reply to: TwentyEleven Theme Nav Bar Changes in Different BroswersFrom the comment marker to the import command is already there with Theme URI, Author, and Author URI modified for Poly Living. I added the code from body on to my child theme.

In reply to: TwentyEleven Theme Nav Bar Changes in Different BroswersEureka! Okay, Child Theme is loaded. Added the Header.php with code you suggested. It stretched the nav bar across the screen which I was happy with so I modified my background to accommodate it.
Problem now…menu is off center to the left.

In reply to: TwentyEleven Theme Nav Bar Changes in Different BroswersYeah I figured out I left out the Child Theme Name info. Got that fixed. But your saying I need to create a new file called header.php and paste in the info from th pastebin page, then load it up to my Child Theme directory?
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: TwentyEleven Theme Nav Bar Changes in Different BroswersOkay, I pasted it into the style sheet for the Child Theme. Now WordPress doesn’t see the Child Theme as an option for a Theme. I am currently under my regular theme.
Here is the code for the style sheet for the Child Theme:
