In reply to: publishingI actually installed a plug-in for it, which also didn’t work. The problem was not with WordPress, at that point. It was that I had not “allowed embedding” for my video on YouTube. Once I did that, it worked fine. But, then I chose to go back to the regular embedding into the page and not use the plug-in. This time, pasting the URL into WP didn’t automatically embed it. So, I went back a couple of days, copied the code and pasted it into the WP page editor (text) and TahDah!
Now if I can get the gallery to work, and find a good but simple contact form plug-in that’s been tested with the newest version of WordPress, it will all be good.

I am assuming I need an embedding plugin to get the video on that page to show? Yes, I’m completely illiterate when it comes WP, and I do feel like a dunce. My apologies.
I could also use the help with the other issue of getting a gallery, which is supposed to be included in the workings of WordPress, to run on another page I am working on. It has not yet been published since I can’t even see it in “View Page.” Any suggestions will be appreciated.
