In reply to: RSS Feed revealing padding code, instead of contentWell Steve….I sit here stunned. But it seems to be fixed. I did as you said — although I was certain we had already tried all of that. I believe it was a plug-in that caused the issue, although I find it hard to believe all of the other experts didn’t figure that out first.(?) It seems it was the one FD Feedburner Plug-In, that for some reason redirects all feeds through Feedburner. I am not sure when it was installed, or why. I am praying the fct that I deleted it doesn’t effect any of my subscribers from receiving notice of new posts. (Any reason that you know of that that might happen?)
But….clicking the RSS button now displays all the feeds correctly, and I sent myself a test email, and that is as it should be, too.
It appears YOU are the genius! And I can’t tell you how grateful I am! I thought it might never get fixed! Gosh, I hate this tech-stuff so much. THANK YOU!
Do you think this will effect anyone’s subscriptions, by deleting that plugin? I am not really clear on what it was for – why I would have ever wanted all feeds to go through Feedburner. (Especially because they seem to have ZERO support anywhere, anymore.)- This reply was modified 8 years ago by Plymrocker.

In reply to: RSS Feed revealing padding code, instead of contentHi Steve – If I am understanding your question correctly, it shows the titles of my blog posts, and underneath, the same padding code (under every one), instead of the initial content.

In reply to: 4.7.1 update moves posts in one column with sidebar at the bottomSame kind of problem. I updated, and my sidebar moved to the left side of content, instead of where it was on the right side. How to fix this?

In reply to: Published Posts Not Showing on HomepageWoman ( Girlieworks), you are AWESOME!! That was it, and I cannot thank you enough!! Seriously grateful for you, your time, and your willingness to help with your knowledge.
As an added tidbit: Unfortunately I do not and cannot get (free, I guess) access to the StudioPress support forum, reason being, a web designer installed my Genesis theme, and since I bought the package from her, I am not the one who bought it (except through her.) Or something like that. I forget her exact explanation but, I guess I would need to pay somehow.
Anyway – that probably didn’t make much sense to you but, most importantly I wanted to express my gratitude for your help, as well as your suggestion. Take care. 🙂Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: Cannot Find Meta Description Tags Already Existing, To AdjustP.S. It’s also a GENESIS site, if that makes any difference.
Oh boy. I had no idea.
Ok thank you, for the links and your time, WPyogi.Oh, well it is a wordpress theme. But not from there. It looks like it was from freewordpressthemes4u dot com It is a wordpress org site.
So no help from here then? I thought it might be a tech thing someone from here would be familiar with how to fix.
Where else can I get help with it then? I’ve been trying to fix this on and off for weeks, and can’t seem to find help or an answer, no matter how many hours, or simple it seems it should be.OK WPyogi, here is what happened. When switching to the twentytwelve theme, the error was fixed, even WITHOUT deactivating all of the plugins. After deactivating all of the plugins, it is still fixed.
So yes, the problem is within the island_two_palm_trees_laeo48. But that is the theme I need to use.
So my question is, where do I go and what do I do, to fix the error, using the island plans theme.
I do appreciate your help.
