Since you found a solution, I wonder if you would mind passing it on to me. I’m using Twenty Eleven, and I want to remove the Search box in order to prevent my page menu from wrapping.
The heck of it is, I fixed this problem about a year ago on another site (for which I’m using Twenty Ten), but I did not document the fix and now can’t remember it. However, I do know that it was a simple fix that did not involve css editing.
I’m having the same issue, I think. I want to remove the Search box from all my pages so as to prevent the page menus from wrapping. Have you found a good solution for this yet?
