In reply to: [WooCommerce] translation issues after WooCommerce-UpdateWell, our solution was actually by moving the site to another server (that was planned anyway). So we’ve more or less reset every .mo/.po file. Was a bit of an effort, but it worked out fine. Still, I think it is not the most convenient way how to handle translations of a website.

Da haben wir die language-files noch einmal neu aufgesetzt und nun ist tatsächlich die komplette Seite korrekt übersetzt. Ich finde das dennoch nicht sonderlich gut gelöst, das es so viele verschiedene Languagefiles gibt, das ist alles andere als übersichtlich, wenn von einer Seite im Frontend drei unterschiedliche .po/.mo files angepasst werden müssen. Ich fürchte mich schon vor den nächsten Updates…bisher wurde immer irgendetwas überschrieben, obwohl das, laut Aussagen von Plugin-Autoren, nicht der Fall sein soll 🙂

We are using PayPal for WooCommerce, because we’ve integrated Google PLUS. But we have the same problem in the current live shop, where we do not use PayPal PLUS, just PayPal standard, without any extra plugin. So I can’t be plugin related.
On the other hand the correct order status is shown in the WooCommerce backend, so it is communicating back that the order has been payed for, but not for each usecase.

Anscheinend gibt es ein Problem mit der formal-Version, WordPress war tatsächlich auf formal gestellt (kann mich nicht daran erinnern, dass das so sein sollte). Ich bin zurück auf Standard Deutsch und siehe da, es ist wieder viel mehr auf Deutsch. Aber immer noch nicht alles.
Aber immerhin ein Teilerfolg, danke. Ich teste weiter durch Ausschluss…

ich habe es mit dem Theme twenty-sixteen ausprobiert und dort habe ich dasselbe Problem. Alles as WooCommerce betrifft ist zum größten Teil auf Englisch.Der Themesupport verweist natürlich auf die Plugins 🙂
Ich werde nach der Aktivierung darauf hingewiesen, dass das Theme nicht zu 100% für Germanized optimiert ist, aber das wusste ich von Beginn, wir haben schon einiges am CSS anpassen müssen.
Ich arbeite mich gerade noch einmal durch alle Sprachdateien und versuche mit dem Ausschlussverfahren die Version zu finden, die verwendet wird. Gibt es noch eine gute Alternative zu Loco-Translate?
Ich habe Germanized auch deaktiviert und es hat sich nichts geändert (werden bei der Deaktivierung auch die Sprachdateien deaktiviert?), demnach sollte es dann auch eher nicht mit dem Plugin zu tun haben, oder?

im WP_Backend findet ihr unter WooCommerce >> Einstellungen einen Reiter (bei uns der letzte) mit der Bezeichnung “Germanized”.Dort müsst ihr etwas herunterscrollen bis “Checkbox oder Text” und der nächste Punkt “Rechtlicher Hinweistext”. Dort kann die Checkbx deaktiviert werden und man kann den Text anpassen und den Link/Text zur Widerrufsbelehrung herausnehmen.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] translation issues after WooCommerce-UpdateOk, looking through all those files in the WP languages dir. All the translations are complete, that’s not the problem. It is just the case, that the translations won’t be shown in the frontend.
The weird thing is, some parts are working, so some parts are in German and most parts are in English. Actually I would expect, that if some of the translations are working so why aren’t the others? My guess is that there is a conflict between different lang-files?!
Does anybody have similar problems with their translations? I’ve found some threads, but those didn’t work for us.

So, as far as I understand, the WP language dir overwrites the others? In this folder, I think, there is also a plugin- and a theme directory as well. An in each directory are .mo and .po files…they seem to overrule each other. Do you know which one has the ” highest hierarchy”?
I think it could be easier to localize a website 🙂

the system status does not highlight anything concerning IPN ( I had to look that up first :)) There is some highlighting, but it concerns the MySQL-Version that we have to update, but the hoster is a bit lazy. And some of the WooCommerce-templates are outdated (I had to overwrite some of the new WooCommerce templates with the old ones, because some of the newer versions had caused some front-end issues and we are working on that).But the rest looks fine, loads of green checkmarks:

Nach dem Update auf die 1.67 erscheint im Checkout die Fehlermeldung “Bitte erteile das SEPA Lastschriftmandat”. Auch hier hat das Deaktivieren geholfen. Wir benutzen auch den Visual Composer, haben damit aber keine Probleme (VC 4.11.1).
Überlege, das die 1.67 zu entfernen und die 1.66 wieder zu installieren. Eine andere Lösung würde ich aber auch bevorzugen.
