Hi Oaurunima, great news! I found the solution, very simple. Here is the code:

Pretty simple eh? Actually I tested different z-index numbers and it started to work at z-index of 3, so maybe different depending on how a site is structured and other elements involved. Now the tabs appear above the content when it’s in full screen. I just have to add some background to the tabs area to create some subtle border area, something that will give some fade-out effect to the content around the tabs area.

My other concern regarding is a problem with containers in laptop mode, specifically with the background overlay image option when using templates within the Advanced Tabs widget. I have been working on this issue for 1 week now and have made many experiments and troubleshooting. It involves the templates and laptop mode and background overlay image option that you have in containers. You can see in the attached screenshot https://imgur.com/a/e3jm6p9 from editing in laptop mode, and the image in the box on the left of the image, in the editing screen, is carried over from the selection in desktop mode. So you know we have the option within Elementor, to select another image, for responsive mode. I tried replacing the image, which appears in the editor, everything looks fine, but in the preview and live view, in laptop mode, it takes the image from desktop mode. So the changes made to the background overlay image (selecting another image instead of the one selected in desktop mode) are not being applied in laptop mode. I have tried many times with different images, different sizes and the result is the same. Please note: I have applied all caching procedures and appled Elementor’s “Regenerate CSS & Data” and applied EA’s “Regenerate Assets” and refreshed browser, shut down browser, restarted computer. Also deleted templates, created new ones. Still no solution. Hope you can help. Thanks

Hi, thanks for the quick reply, but those settings (for Header transparency) don’t work. Did you see the attached image? It shows those settings are set to transparent. That’s why I said in my previous message “the settings are not working”. Also what do you mean when you say: “they added an option to set the background of the whole modal box” So that means we will be able to set the header to transparency? Thanks

Hi Oaurunim, I am trying to work out a design with the Advanced Tabs for mobile view with tabs remaining in vertical layout. I have my tabs on the left side, which I will use with icons and no text. I am using templates. I would like the content to be full width. If I move the content to full width, the icons for my tabs disappear under the content so we cannot see them. Is there any CSS you could provide that would allow the tabs(icons) to remain visible? Thanks and best regards

Hi Oaurunima, thanks for the solution, although as I had mentioned in my previous email, which I wrote: “But I found the solution. I made adjustments in the typography settings via line-height settings….” And thank you for the left alignment solution, that CSS works perfectly, + I will try and use that class name for the tabs for other adjustments I may need to make, that’s excellent!
