Thanks. The subscription form editor was kind of confusing, but I was able to change the field name after all.

So I’m not the crazy one here.

I checked to see whether I have a subscribe to comments (or similar) plug in installed, but did not find one. I took your suggestion and looked through the comments.php theme file.

Although I looked through each line carefully, the codes are kind of mysterious. I’m copying and pasting the comment.php below:

Do you see anything that allows one to subscribe to comments?
