In reply to: [Rename Media Files: Improve Your SEO] Plugin is not translation readyThat’s true for the moment but probably not the final status; the plugin directory got a redesign some days ago. There is still work in progress. I guess (I hope) we see our translated descriptions in a few days.
The default plugin page is English, that’s correct and the URL is
https://wordpress.org/plugins/file-renaming-on-upload/My Browser shows a hint that your Plugin is available in German – linking to
https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/file-renaming-on-upload/
(which also shows english texts and not german)So you maybe can see a hint that pt-BR is available – linking to
https://br.wordpress.org/plugins/file-renaming-on-upload/(May depend on how your browser language is set and how the plugin directory detects your language/location …)

In reply to: [Rename Media Files: Improve Your SEO] Plugin is not translation readyThank you!
By the way, German is at 100% now and it is not necessary anymore to ship the plugin with your own po/mo-files. WordPress will take translations from translate.wordpress.org as soon as they are available (=more than 95% complete)

In reply to: [Rename Media Files: Improve Your SEO] Plugin is not translation readyThat’s great news!
I’ve started german translations and up to now we are at 50% for ‘Readme’ and 50% for the plugin itself.

In reply to: [Baskerville] translation@peteratzin, you may want to read my post
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/translation-problem-62/#post-8843438and replace “Spanish” with “Dutch” 🙂
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Baskerville] Translation Problemthere is a language file for Spanish, as you can see here
https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-themes/baskerville/language-packsIf you want to use this community-generated translations, perform these steps:
1.) in your WP backend (Settings), choose “Spanish” as language
2.) via FTP, navigate to wp-content/themes/baskerville/languages/ and delete all .po and .mo files
3.) via FTP, navigate to wp-content/languages/themes/baskerville/ and delete all .po and .mo files
4.) in your WP backend go to “Updates” – you should see “translation updates available”. Install these and you’re done.If you want to use your own .po/mo files, do steps 1-3 and put your files in wp-content/languages/themes/baskerville/
for Czech there are no language files available, so you also will need to perform steps 1-3 and put your files in wp-content/languages/themes/baskerville/
Maybe you want to contribute some translations to the community?
Simply go to
https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-themes/baskerville/cs/default
and complete what’s missing.
After having suggested some strings, they have to be validated/approved by one of your PTE/GTE.If 95% or more of all strings have been approved, the system generates a language pack* which becomes available to all blogs using Czech as language.
*) may take 30 minutes after last approval of a string

In reply to: [Customizer Export/Import] French translationGo to
https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/customizer-export-import(and log in!)
Look for French, choose “Development (trunk)” and see which strings have no translation. Simply open “Details” and type your suggestion for the translation. If finished, click “suggest new translation” and it will set to “waiting”.
Then, a PTE or GTE for French has to approve this suggestion (or reject it).
You can find them on

In reply to: [Event List] Weekdays, month in german languageKarin, Florian, I am working on the translation to German, it might be completed within this week – ich arbeite an der Übersetzung ins Deutsche, möglicherweise schaffe ich es diese Woche noch.
https://de.wordpress.org/mitwirken/style-guide-fuer-uebersetzungen/
