In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] LINKEDIN links shows as broken@wpmudev-support6 Oh, wouldn’t that be a great new feature – mark such links as “not checkable” or “status unsure” or “not public” instead of “broken”?
@goldenlion70 you can do so here:

In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] LINKEDIN links shows as broken@mann14 When checking links, BLC won’t need your Desktop or Smartphone, so it doesn’t matter if you (personally) are logged in there or not 😉
The webserver will send a request to the target URL and analyse the answer. And without using login credentials, this might fail for those profile pages.

In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] LINKEDIN links shows as broken@elixask @mann14 I guess (haven’t checked it) it is required to be logged in at linkedin.com to see some profile pages; if you’re not logged in, the server might not return status code 200 …
to prevent these links from being striked through, you might add linkedin.com to BLC’s exclusion list (found on BLC options page “which links to check”).

In reply to: [Baskerville] Changing Link Colors SeparatelySure, that would be
body.page .post-header .post-title, body.single-post .post-header .post-title a:link { color: #ff0000; } body.page .post-header .post-title, body.single-post .post-header .post-title a:visited { color: #00ffff; } body.page .post-header .post-title, body.single-post .post-header .post-title a:hover { color: #ff00ff; } body.page .post-header .post-title, body.single-post .post-header .post-title a:active { color: #ff0000; }Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Baskerville] Changing Link Colors Separatelythis code should do what you intend to do:
.post-header .post-title a:link { color: #0000ff; } .post-header .post-title a:visited { color: #00ffff; } .post-header .post-title a:hover { color: #ff00ff; } .post-header .post-title a:active { color: #ff0000; }Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Flamingo] User permissions to ONLY see Flamingo?Hi @willkeyworth,
yes, this is possible; you need to install and activate the plugin «User Role Editor» by Vladimir Garagulya
https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-role-editor/.Use this plugin to set up a new role called «Flamingo readonly».
This role needs just 3 permissions granted:edit_usersandreadandlevel_0(deprecated)Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Baskerville] Where do I find Google Fonts OptionHi Jens,
the variable is intended to be set to “off” by translators (!), if there there are characters in the translated language which are not available in the theme fonts.
See functions.php, comment in lines 95-98.
One can do so at translate.wordpress.org – for example here (for de_DE): https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-themes/baskerville/de/default/?filters%5Bterm%5D=google&filters%5Buser_login%5D=&filters%5Bstatus%5D=current_or_waiting_or_fuzzy_or_untranslated&filter=Filter&sort%5Bby%5D=priority&sort%5Bhow%5D=descThis translation applies to all users who use this specific language (pack). So it’s not the way to go for you 🙂
If you want to set Google Fonts to “off” for your own project, you should use a child theme and host the needed fonts yourself. It’s not that hard:
