Hello, I am not an expert, but regarding the footer, I am not sure there is an easy option to modify the footer. To have a clean footer, you need to go into Appearance>Customise>Footer then delete everything.
Then chose your site title and the footer will appear as follow:

Regarding the menu, mine appeared when I added woo commerce.
I am having some issues myself to modify the background of the footer, could you tell me where you have done it?
