I have the same problem. When I´m sending mail direct to the mail adress I´m using in the form, it works, but not via contact form. It has worked before.

It was working with a default wordpress theme, so I installed the older version of Canvas, but the result was the same.
I found a resolution though. In the settings of the event calendar I changed the event page template from default page template to default event template. That made the trick.
