I’m sorry to have not reported that I *already* used this howto; it has a really bad problem: trackback links reveal the internal directory where WP is installed into.
So the question may change as how do I disable tracklinks at all”? Note that I am using WP-PostgreSQL 1.2.1.
Thanks again!
I got a plus question about this topic. I noticed that following this way for hiding” the WP installation folder does not really help. In fact, following the permanent link to a certain post, the Trackback link easily reveals the installation folder.
So my question is the following. What is the most secure and easy way to use the blog data and features outside the installation directory BUT making the installation directory URI NOT showing the blog?
Roughly speaking I want to do something like this (www.molly.com) but I do NOT want something like this (www.molly.com/wordpress) to happen.
Thanks in advance.
