I just had the same problem. Make sure their are not slashes at the front of your URL. Removing the slash helped me.
So
example.com/something/
should be
example.com/somethingForum: Plugins

The folder that is in the same folder as the readme document is the one I needed to move. I was moving the root folder which has the same name. The other problem is I was moving the wrong php file.
Mark this as resolved.

I installed it just like the instructions said. I tried disabling other plugins, I have tried installing it normally then moving the folders, but I still get a white screen.
Any tips on how to solve this would be great. ThanksRunning WP 3.9 with BuddyPress and a number of other plugins. WordPress is running on a linux box and all of the permissions are properly.
