Is the code snippet above future-proof?
Thanks

Thanks for the help – however I have just discovered that when Blog2Social sends an “@something” to Facebook page, Facebook does not recognise it as a mention & connect it.
I guess this is maybe impossible (sending @mentions to Facebook)?
Re. #3
I am also interested in “gift voucher” functionality – Vendor can sell a gift card or voucher that is only valid within their store.
Is this available? Or what do you mean by ‘with slight modification’?
Thanks for the info. My own tech skills are limited, but my developer has said;
“We cannot use hook for wp_get_post_tags as it is a standard function. If you can explain with a hook that works here that would be helpful.”
— is there any further information that could assist? Thanks

In reply to: [WooCommerce] UK convert ‘map area’ to postcode list – any tools for this? Thanks – I’ll take a look at that.
Also any tool outside of Woocommerce eg a website / app that allows you to draw a zone on a map and then outputs the postcodes that are within the zone.
“Please let me know if this solution is working for you. I am looking forward to your reply.”
– Thanks for information. The plugin is working & I understand how the templates work, however regarding the @username related to post; this is not a solution for me as it is a static text fixed within the template….and we are looking to pull in a variable {@username} from post eg meta/custom field.
I will continue to watch this post incase a solution becomes available.
Many Thanks
I understand, however the Tags for these listings are are stored in the standard WordPress database table ‘wp_terms’ (same as normal WordPress post tags)….should Blog2Social not detect them or is something else involved?
Each post would have a different @username…
In my situation it is for business profiles – ie. if post is about a certain business then I want to add eg their Facebook @username ….then, when that post is shared on Facebook, the Network Template would insert the @username to ‘mention’ them.
You could do similar with eg Twitter etc.
I guess other people could use it for their authors or other subject matter talked about within their post eg. if they are reviewing a music artist.
Thanks
@blog2socialsupport – this works great except for one thing; {keywords} are not being pulled into our template for our custom posts (directory listings).
We use a directory plugin (https://codecanyon.net/item/web-20-directory-plugin-for-wordpress/6463373), however the Tags for these listings are are stored in the normal WordPress database table ‘wp_terms’ (same as normal WordPress post tags).
Blog2Social appears to pull in Tags correctly for standard WordPress posts. For our Directory posts, everything works correctly ({excerpt}, {title} etc) except for {keywords} which are not displayed.
Can you give me any ideas to troubleshoot the problem?
Does Blog2Social {keywords} rely on something else regarding the post?
Thanks
PS.
And…is there a method of creating a custom {variable} for templates eg pulling from a Custom Field?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Product attribute as free text or numerical value? Thanks for the quick response… In that case, is there a method of restricting the ‘Custom Product Attributes’ to a list of available names/labels?
ie. provide a list of ‘Custom Product Attributes’ (names/labels) and only these can be used?
If it makes any difference, we are only using ‘Simple’ products.
Thanks

In reply to: [Name Directory] Do you have any plans to add a ‘link’ field to this plugin?Hi Jeroen,
it’s no problem for me adding the link, it’s just for when people submit – there is nowhere for them to add a link to submit.
It’s not a big deal for our site as I don’t think we’ll have many submissions, but I also think this plugin could be much better than other existing ‘link’ directories if it had a link field.
Thanks again 🙂
