It would be amazing if it had a tab for history where you can just look and see a breakdown in a sortable inbox or something. is there also a way to add phone number to the form and make it a required field?
In essence i just dont want to have to have a seperate form for that info, since your plugin is so close to serving the purpose when its in offline mode.

I do not have the proficiency to modify the plugin myself, and this project is funded out of pocket as a personal project for a good cause. Looks like I will need to hire a developer, I hope its not too expensive.
Your first and last solution (non biased breed listing and interactive searching) are BOTH features that I would like to have. I am semi-proficient at debugging code, but not at all at writing or heavily modifying so i guess I will be putting this on the back burner and focus on the rest of the sites features for now.

In reply to: [Wordbooker] wordbooker is posting the wrong urllol Steve, believe me i have tried. They offer no support beyond installation and basic functions. If you think this is a hard project, I still need to find a way to allow site users to submit location based work requests. For example if you are looking for a house painter youd choose “House Painters” from a category dropdown, select how far away you want to look, describe the job and submit. Then every business listed under “house painters” category would recieve the request as long as they are within the location/distance parameters you defined in the form. Then theyd be able to contact you so give you an estimate. Ive been searching for weeks for a way to do that and im not even going to mention it on the theme support forums because the devs there are 100% useless. If it werent for the amazing features and functionality of the theme itself id ditch it and get another from someone else.
I will definitely take a look at that. I dont know if i want events manager to actually create business listings because the theme itself handles that, i was just hoping it would allow the buddypress subscribers to submit these to listing subscribers.
perhaps i need to seek an alternative method for allowing users to submit geographic category based service requests then. I want to be able to let users say they are looking (just an example)for a “Computer Repair Tech” within “however many miles of current location” with a “scope of work field). Then once they submit this form, businesses listed on the site who fit both the geographic and category parameters of the request will be able to respond with a quote or estimate or followup. This could be an incredible tool for business’s and consumers alike if i can figure it out.
