Hi Diana,
What makes you think these warnings are from Favicon by RealFaviconGenerator? Apparently there are no reference to get_screen_icon or screen_icon in the plugin’s code.

In reply to: [Favicon by RealFaviconGenerator] Security of pluginHello,
Thank you for reporting.
The issues reported by CodeRisk were of low severity. Nonetheless, they were fixed in v1.3.17, released a minute ago.
For some reasons, I cannot trigger a new scan on CodeRisk, so I hope it will be performed automatically soon, in order to validate the changes.

In reply to: [Favicon by RealFaviconGenerator] Mobile Favicon missing navigationHi,
This behavior is normal, but you are right, sometimes this is just not what you want.
To change this, you need to generate your favicon again (ie. in your WordPress dashboard, go to Appearance > Favicon, and start the process again). Once on RealFaviconGenerator, in the “Favicon for Android Chrome” panel, click the “Options” tab. Select the “Browser” mode (instead of “Standalone”, which is the default).
Now your webapp manifest, generated along with your icons, asks the browser to behave, well, like a browser 🙂
To test this on your phone, you first need to remove the existing “added to home screen” shortcut. And make sure to refresh your site in Chrome to make sure you are using the latest version.
Please let me know if this solves the issue.

In reply to: [Favicon by RealFaviconGenerator] How does this plugin works? In your code, there is still an icon declared by Genesis (to spot it, search for “ico”). Maybe it is still active? Is http://localhost/cyberthana.com/wp-content/themes/genesis/images/favicon.ico a real icon? If not, that might explain why the favicon is not working.
