thanks for getting back to me and really sorry for such late reply. Actually if you just need those three dots all you have to change is
define("WP_RP_EXCERPT_SHORTENED_SYMBOL", " […]");
to
define("WP_RP_EXCERPT_SHORTENED_SYMBOL", " ...");

Hey,
thanks for reaching out! I am not sure what exactly is the issue – I have tried changing the permalinks of posts and pages via the edit button and also via settings (to default, to showing up days and dates,…) but (un)fortunately everything works for me. Could you be more specific or is it possible to make screenshots of the issue?

I have tested this on my side and it should work – I have a made a new page, added an image with a caption and then tried to search for that caption. It worked.Hope this helps in any way, take care and have a lovely day,

If you are thinking about that widget below your editor when you write your post, then I am sorry, no – I mean you can completely remove it if you wish to but we can’t make it to show only your posts.
To remove it, go to plugin settings and un-tick the box next to “Display widget with articles from around the web in your “Compose-new-post” page”.Sorry for the inconvenience, take care and have a lovely weekend,
