I have just upgraded to 0.7.2 and it seems to be working correctly for me, now with WP 3.1.3. Thank you for fixing the problem.
Peter B, if WordPress installations depend on developers who consider that they can release bugs into the world and not take any responsibility for the consequences, then it would be better to abandon WordPress. Fortunately the developer in question does seem to take responsibility. The problem is that he is ignoring the official WordPress support forum. But he does seem to be responding to bug reports at his personal site which I just found.
Having just the same problem, as noted in several threads. Isn’t this supposed to be a support forum? Is there anyone out there offering support on WPMP? If not I will have to look elsewhere.
Is this in fact the same issue as in http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-wordpress-mobile-pack-causing-conflict-with-short-url ? The short URL redirects are working fine on my desktop site, and have considerably helped my Google rankings. Why does the mobile plugin need to break this aspect of a desktop site? For me this is a complete killer for WPMP – I would rather have no mobile site than a broken desktop one.
I have the same problem and it is a complete killer for WPMP, as my site structure depends on the proper permalinks working. Is there no way to fix this? Is there no one even prepared to respond to this issue?
