Hey SmalliSax,
Thanks for downloading and using the plugin and the kind words!
As you’ve mentioned localhost installs can always be an issue as I can’t get access to the sytem in anyway to take a look.
I can’t say I have ever experienced this problem myself, however there may be some conflict somewhere with another plug-in or the JavaScript controlling the front news posts.
If you have firebug (and you should!) please look under the console tab and then errors and let me know if anything is showing up.
In addition, please ensure the following:
– You are using at least jquery 11.1
– You have cleared any caches
– If you are using minify on your site, that you turn the minify option off for my plugin.Apart from the above and without access its quite hard to know what else to suggest really..
We will hopefully get there though!
Many thanks
Peter

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Change size of icon?Hey rqmellis,
Correct, if you have/know about FTP access, you can just replace the files inside the responsive-menu folder.
Either way, your settings will remain.
If you don’t feel safe, you can find the “RMOptions” option in the wp_options database table and copy and paste this somewhere safe to inject back in after.
Many thanks

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Change size of icon?Hey rqmellis,
You won’t lose any options on upgrade. They will all remain.
When I say re-save your options from the admin, I just mean hit the update button once that’s all.
Many thanks

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Several menusHey Iznogood1,
The 2.2 beta includes shortcode support and the ability to use different menus on different pages.
Please download and install the 2.2 beta from the following page:
http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/responsive-menu.2.2.zip
Once installed, please tick the use shortcode option and save your details.
You can then use the shortcode as follows:
Default Menu – [responsive-menu]
Alternative Menu – [responsive-menu RM=”footer-menu”]Of course, footer-menu above needs to be replaced with the slug of the particular menu you would like to use.
Please let me know how you get on with this and if you have any further questions.
Many thanks
Peter

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Change size of icon?Hi there,
I just added it as a new feature in the 2.2 beta for you.
If you could download from below and let me know if you experience any issues:
http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/responsive-menu.2.2.zip
Once installed, you will need to re save your options from the admin so as to re-create the CSS files.
Many thanks

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Target ipadsHi ckrausko,
As the plugin is built not as a mobile menu but as a responsive menu it doesn’t take into consideration the orientation or type of device being used but just the pixel width.
You could of course however, edit the CSSModel.php file inside the app/Models folder.
You can replace the section that has the media query with your hard coded version.
Alternatively, you could use the external scripts option and then edit this file directly inside the responsive-menu-data/css folder.
Either way should work.
Let me know how you get on with this.
Many thanks

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Change size of icon?Hi rqmellis,
Thanks for downloading and using the plugin and the kind words.
If you place something like the following inside your themes style.css file then it should do the trick, obviously you can change the numeric values to whatever suits you best!
I may make this a customisable option in future.
#click-menu .threeLines { width: 20px !important; } #click-menu .threeLines .line { height: 2px !important; }Let me know how you get on with this.
Many thanks

Hi Sean,
Thanks very much for downloading and using the plug-in.
Whatever text you put in the Menu Title box will appear as the alt and title text for menu image.
Please put some text in here and it will appear. Alternatively you can edit the menu.phtml file of the plug-in to manually insert this if need be.
Many thanks

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] close menu and transitionsHi Daniel,
Apologies, we have had a long weekend here so haven’t been by a computer.
Having looked at the link you sent, I’m not sure what extra functionality you are after here.
The fixed position option keeps the menu fixed in position as the page is scrolled just like in that Facebook button on that site?
Many thanks
Peter

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Menu does not show upHi scuipu,
This doesnt really make sense to be honest.
Please provide your site URL so I can look at this for you.
Many thanks

Hi guys,
Thanks for downloading and using the plugin!
Sarsells, the menu works perfectly on your site but you have it on a white background so you cant see it, please update the 3 lines colour from the admin to a different colour and you will see it.
Japhys, great you got it working!
If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to let me know.
Many thanks
Peter

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] close menu and transitionsHi Daniel,
Can you clarify what you mean with the above?
You can set the menu to be fixed from the admin which will mean it will stay in the same place as the page scrolls.
Could you include an image of what you mean, as nothing was included in the last message?
Many thanks
Peter
