Hi Eckstein,
Thanks very much for the kind words. I currently get lost with all the various options myself!
I can go one better for you. I have now added the following options to the beta:
- Ability to change Current Page background hover colour
- Ability to change Current Page Link hover colour
You can either download this now and test out from the Developer tab or wait for the release which should hopefully be by the end of the weekend once all testing is complete!
Many thanks
Peter
Hey SkiJay,
Great news you got it working!
Many thanks

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] RM opening inside the wrapperHi pathuri,
Thanks for the message.
It would appear that you may have conflicting rules in your CSS that are interfering with the positioning of the Responsive Menu.
I can see that the correct value of
right: 0px;is getting set, it may be that you have it embedded inside some elements that have relative positioning and as such would cause the right value of 0 to push alongside these rather than the edge of the page itself. Also, have you tried with push animation turned off as it doesn’t appear that you need this.
Please let me know.
Many thanks
Peter

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Cannot get submenus to showHi jturet,
I’ve just been on your page and it seems that all the submenus are on there, I can see them all fine.
It would seem however that your theme uses some sort of custom menu and has it’s own css classes and Ids which are not standard for WordPress and as such it is unlikely that it will be compatible with your theme unfortunately.
Either revert to using standard WordPress menus or you could ask a developer to try and edit my plugin to make it compatible for you.
Many thanks

Hi Anticosti,
Thanks for updating me, it may be worth speaking to the authors of that plugin or going through their code and seeing what is setting this and removing/overwriting it.
Many thanks
Peter
Hi mrgreenwaters,
Ok not a problem. If you get it onto a dev/live site in future please let me know and I will look to help out.

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] not workingHi nicnack,
Unfortunately I think it is going to be more complex than this as it’s like trying to make 2 different techniques mix and match together.
I’m not sure if my plugin will work with your site in the way it is currently built and you may be better finding a “WordPress Mobile Menu” plugin rather than Responsive.
You may be able to use media queries as you have said but it would involve a developer sitting down and spending substantial time on it.
Unfortunately, I’m not in a position to be able to do this due to work commitments and maintaining this plugin on the side (I barely get enough time just to respond to tickets at the moment).
I’m sure with time spent on it you could get this plugin to work in your environment but it may be just as time effective to rebuild your site responsively.
Sorry I can’t be of more help my friend but I wish you well in the future!
Many thanks
Peter
Hi mrgreenwaters,
Please provide a URL to your site and I will take a look for you.

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] not workingHi nicknack,
I’ve just navigated to your site and it seems that it is not built responsively.
You seem to have different styles/settings based on the device it would seem whereas mine is built based on the viewport width, media queries and the device width etc. You can see this by resizing your browser window on a desktop, your website doesn’t “respond”.
Are you saying that when you de-activate the plugin that the page link you sent me goes back to normal?
If so, please provide me with FTP and WordPress admin details and I will see if I can find a cause of this for you.
Many thanks
Peter
