In reply to: [Customizer Remove All Parts] Works Exactly as ExpectedThanks. I hadn’t thought about it being shoved in mu-plugins, but that’s a great idea. I’ll be sure we test that for the next version we’re developing with more options.

In reply to: [Customizer Remove All Parts] load_languages function in your classWe plan on getting the ONE line of language translated. There is code if someone stumbles upon the customizer.php URL that says it’s been disabled.
Does that answer your question or am I missing the boat?
We believe it should be a plugin, also, or at the least an option in the settings or user settings, just like it is for the admin toolbar.
Thank you so much for the 5-star review.
I will push the update to the repo around lunch, ET. Thanks a bunch for the improvement.
Thanks, Piet. That was the exact reason we developed it out of the conversations on both .org and WP Tavern. Rather than a slam or being pissed at core dev, this is no more than an option we feel should be there to turn off the feature, no more than turning off the Admin Toolbar.
The comments made it clear on a few good points that I’ll address on my site today:
- Seeing these new buttons are a training item for enterprise or agencies that have already trained users. It’s expensive.
- The move to include items in Customizer is moving too fast and against popular feedback and seems to contradict its own purpose to preview design items. Menus aren’t design, we say.
- Customizer should be a plugin for a long time, just as MP6 was as an interface overhaul. I still have that plugin installed on old sites that haven’t asked for updates from me – I laugh and uninstall it when I run across it.
We are developing a new version under a new name that has options, rather than this nuclear “option” that kills it outright with no settings.

In reply to: [Subscribe Mailchimp for EDD] PHP error upon activatingOh, FYI, the title of your plugin at http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/edd-mailchimp-subscribe said Subscibe instead of Subscribe. Nowhere else do I see it spelled that way – the URLs, the dashboard, nowhere.
I pinged Jan Dembowski – one of the volunteer forum mods – and he saw it’s the readme.txt file with the misspelling because I was having a brain fart forgetting which file produces the repo description.

// update
It worked! Thanks, Aman.
I’m confused why you’re asking again after I sent you here from the out-of-the-way method using my site contact form.
I would have said “no” if I didn’t support it still.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Stealth Login Page] Role-based wp-admin permalink?I don’t, either. 🙂 I learned all of this as I went. I can look more when I resume development in the next couple of months.

In reply to: [Stealth Login Page] Role-based wp-admin permalink?Interesting idea – the speeding up based on roles part.
What doesn’t fit is that it doesn’t have to do with site security, so that would be its own plugin. I believe the best plugins do one thing and do it well. I’ll jot this down for a future plugin with my team, though. Good idea.

In reply to: [Stealth Login Page] Does not redirect at allOK, thanks. You don’t really have anything different of note from my setup except 2 things: your browser/OS and your plugins.
First, I’d try another browser. Try Chrome and see. At that point, it could be your browser settings being customized in some odd way. If that works, then we have that to go on.
Second, if that fails, I’d deactivate all plugins and activate SLP and ensure the settings are still there.
Third, and this is just for kicks and grins either way, use a safe mode window and try it. Safe mode ensures it has nothing to do with past sessions.
