I resolved my issue. I’m posting it here that it may help someone else too with the same issue.
Use wp-easy-gallery plugin instead of gallery plugin to create the gallery page for all versions in the site.

I was having the similar issue after updating my wordpress site. After replacing all the files and folder except wp-content and wp-config.php in root with a fresh wordpress files and folders, It resolved the issue and the site is working fine. Thanks a lot for all your support.Forum: Plugins
