This method works on all PeepSo plugins.
1. Every PeepSo plugins have templates directory, determine which plugin you want to change and find the file inside templates directory.
2. Create overrides/templates directory on your PeepSo directory.
3. Create another directory inside overrides/templates/[YOUR_NEW_DIRECTORY] with the directory that contains the file you want to change.
4. Copy the file to that directory and modify it.Hi,
You’d have to create plugin theme overrides. Sample of a page that did a nice customization is: https://unfound.cc
But this is not covered by the scope of our support.

You’ll need to check with UM. I’m pretty sure they need to be migrated. PeepSo keeps images in its own /wp-content/peepso/… directory. Plus the naming convention of the files, plus database entries that connect a given image with a given user. Not to mention new directory structure for the images.
Yes. You need the avatars to be migrated.

PeepSo is NOT related to UM in any way. We don’t know what they used to get their avatars working and how they achieved that. If you’re moving from UM to PeepSo, that’s great. But in that case you should think about migrating existing content from one plugin to another. Otherwise, yes. It will be a start from scratch for Your Community.

We’d rather not use the forums here to provide support. We’d be able to provide faster and better support via our ticketing system than a guessing game and jumping around a thread on a forum.
General questions as in: can this be done? Sure, most time we can answer. But in 99.9% cases you’ll be asked to open a ticket. Regardless whether it’s about free or paid plugins.

WordPress does NOT have upload avatar functionality. It just doesn’t. So if you remove PeepSo the avatars uploaded through it will be gone. Same way if you use other plugins for WordPress which extend its possibilities. If you have an events calendar plugin, create an event, remove the plugin, don’t expect the event to be still on your site.

Yes, it does and will contain ‘peepso’ at least for now. There are many other plugins handling registration and using a generic url might cause conflicts.

PeepSo has its own ACL, yes, it’s a basic version. We’ll work on it in the future. It is open source, though. If you can’t wait, you can always have it modified / extended.
Also, you can use 3rd party plugins for managing menu items to show / hide links based on whether you’re logged in or not. PeepSo is NOT designed to control WordPress menus and their items.

Check an option in Backend > PeepSo > Configuration > Appearance: “Use PeepSo avatars everywhere”
Should help.
