UPDATE: I found that if I change my permalink settings to Default, the stylesheets, etc. work. But I don’t want the default permalink settings. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the response. It does appear that those elements are coming from the full-screen editor. The problem is, I’m not in full-screen mode when I see them. Furthermore, I can’t enter full-screen mode mode (when I click the button, nothing happens). Those extra elements in the corner do nothing when I click them (screenshot below of what it looks like).
I also just noticed that my WYSIWYG toolbar looks different from what it should be. The buttons are all basic text without icons, not at all like the standard tiny-mce toolbar.
