I’m not finding any reset there. Do you mean this box:
Load some default CSS? Yes No Select “yes” if the checkbox appears in a weird place.
I tried this with Yes checked and with No checked – no difference.

I am already using a Captcha on my comment form and there seems to be some conflict when I added the email sign-up checkbox to the comment form.
The position of the captcha entry field seems to be moving in a way that it can’t be used when the checkbox for the sign-up is enabled. I am using the “BotDetect Captcha” plug-in: http://captcha.com/doc/php/wordpress-captcha.html?utm_source=plugin&utm_medium=wp&utm_campaign=3.0.Beta1.7
