Sorry about the delay in answering, email notification did not happen.In the meantime I installed the google reCaptcha which did work. I suppose common sense should apply: if I hate clicking on street signs etc. so will others. Then to find that it is possibly ineffective anyway.
Next job is to uninstall and if the site gets too much rubbish I will activate akismet.

In reply to: Edit tag on pageSituation resolved after closing firefox and opening again. I had been logged in and even though I had closed the dashboard I was still being given the option to edit.

In reply to: line spacing and paragraphingThank you for the suggestion, though I had tried it already (having done this in the distant past) without it having effect. Strangely, pressing enter and shift does work, so half the problem solved.
