I’m having this same problem. No matter what I try, I am just getting the Gravitar “G” appearing.
Does anyone have a solution?

Thanks for the comments. I fixed the header.
Can anyone tell me what the link would be for the “archives” and “links” (for the menu at the top)? This template has those links by default, but I cannot figure out what the actual link should be to make it work.
